An agricultural school

Young people in Palmyra are to have a permanent place where they can learn agriculture. Palmyras Venner supports the building of an agricultural school with room for a class of about thirty.

The building has to hold both the teaching and the people who look after the place. Beside it a store will be built, so that tools, irrigation equipment and the other materials can be kept dry and locked. The teaching is practical. The participants learn to grow vegetables, use the tools and keep a farm going, so the skills can be used at once.

The school is intended as a permanent frame, not as a course that is packed away again. When the building stands, the courses can be repeated and adapted to what the area needs.
